Spring Beauty Haul

Beauty Haul 3.6.13

 MAC Select Sheer
Wanted a powder I can carry in my bag and good for traveling. When I was in MAC counter looking around, the sales lady suggested this powder to me. Select sheer has a sheer coverage, texture is silky and goes on lightly, the packaging is less bulky, has a mirror inside, and the closure is very secure. I thought "wow, this is the perfect one!" so I ended up bring it home with me. It provides a decent sheer coverage, it's not completely matte so still allows natural skin peek through which I really liked.  It also last long and make me mostly shine free through out the day.
Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Cream SPF38 PA+++
The best sunscreen ever for face. Honestly, never experienced a sun protection product that is oil free, light, hydrating, smoothes skin surface and has high SPF. I wear it on the daily basis now, without or under makeup. It is so great,  helps my face makeup last even longer.

Real Techniques Shading Brush and Blush Brush
I added these two RT brushes to my collection recently. The shading brush I use for buffing in concealer under my eyes and around my nose area, it works amazing. The blush brush I find it to be too soft for applying blush. It doesn't performs well sweeping the color on and blends out evenly, but I find it perfect for applying powder. I use it to apply MAC Select Sheer now and it works great.

Philip B Peppermint & Avocado Shampoo
This is a volumizing and clarifying shampoo. I heard lots of good things about it and my hair is stress me out recently, so I though to give it a try. I have oily roots and dry ends, this shampoo known as "scalp invigorator and root booster", it will get rid of all the oil build up and gradually your roots are not as oily as before. So far I really like it. It has a cooling effect when massaging it on the roots, very refreshing especially in the morning. My hair is very lightweight and soft, silky after using this, but not that much a difference of volumizing. I will have a full review on this after some time.

December Favorites, 2012

L'oreal  Eyeshadow Quad 106 desert sunrise
Natural and beautiful color shadow quad, contains shimmery and matte color. These shadows are not super soft or opaque but I love it. It's great for carrying, traveling because no need to worry it will break and make a mess.

Prestige BrowPerfection Ideal Match Marbleized Brow Pencil medium/deep
I like the texture of this brow pencil because it's not too soft or too hard, just right in between. I like it also because it has a brush on the other end, very convenient to use. The color is not 100% match my brow color but once it blend I'm fine with it.

Revlon Grow Luscious Lashliner 001 onyx
This is my favorite item of the month and my holly grail eye liner. The color is super intense black and gildes easily, once its on it will stay put for the whole day without creasing. It doesn't say it's waterproof but I find it lasts long than any other eye liner that I own.

Pixi Last Shadow Pen Duo
This shadow pencil duo is in my last month favorite post and I have a blog post on it.( click here )

Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel
This is a wonderful product that I use as a primer under my foundation at winter time.It helps foundation goes on much easier. last longer and also helps oil control on my T-zone. If you have any foundation that doesn't work well, hard to blend or sets into your pores, try use this underneath will help change these problems.

Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus
This is the darkest mascara that I own and I have it for a really long time. It take practice to get good results and hard to take off so I don't really like it at first. But once you get use to it and it's not super wet as before it's a super good mascara. It does lengthening really well and last all day without smudging.

MAC Lipglass Delicate Crush
I am not a lipgloss lover because I always find it feels sticky on lips, but surprisingly I like this one. The color is super beautiful and I can layer it on lots of my lipsticks. It doesn't really feel sticky on my lips and last very long compare to other gloss that I have tried.

essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara
I am loving essence products. They are very cute packaging and the quality isn't bad for the price. Brow gel is a must have product and I think this one is very affordable and cute.

MAC Crushed Metallic Pigment

This is my first time trying the MAC crushed metallic pigments. I have the color wintersky and dark moon.
Wintersky reminds me of the blue colors in wet n wild color icon eye shadow trio 'I got Good Jeans', I have a post on that not long ago, click here if you want to see it.
Dark Moon is a dark black color with tons of metallic shimmer in it,  the glitters are very obvious under natural day light and it stands out more under artificial lights, great for an evening or party look. I'm thinking of using it on top of eye liner, or placing it close to the lash line, I will share with you the makeup look later when I get a chance.
