December Favorites, 2012

L'oreal  Eyeshadow Quad 106 desert sunrise
Natural and beautiful color shadow quad, contains shimmery and matte color. These shadows are not super soft or opaque but I love it. It's great for carrying, traveling because no need to worry it will break and make a mess.

Prestige BrowPerfection Ideal Match Marbleized Brow Pencil medium/deep
I like the texture of this brow pencil because it's not too soft or too hard, just right in between. I like it also because it has a brush on the other end, very convenient to use. The color is not 100% match my brow color but once it blend I'm fine with it.

Revlon Grow Luscious Lashliner 001 onyx
This is my favorite item of the month and my holly grail eye liner. The color is super intense black and gildes easily, once its on it will stay put for the whole day without creasing. It doesn't say it's waterproof but I find it lasts long than any other eye liner that I own.

Pixi Last Shadow Pen Duo
This shadow pencil duo is in my last month favorite post and I have a blog post on it.( click here )

Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel
This is a wonderful product that I use as a primer under my foundation at winter time.It helps foundation goes on much easier. last longer and also helps oil control on my T-zone. If you have any foundation that doesn't work well, hard to blend or sets into your pores, try use this underneath will help change these problems.

Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus
This is the darkest mascara that I own and I have it for a really long time. It take practice to get good results and hard to take off so I don't really like it at first. But once you get use to it and it's not super wet as before it's a super good mascara. It does lengthening really well and last all day without smudging.

MAC Lipglass Delicate Crush
I am not a lipgloss lover because I always find it feels sticky on lips, but surprisingly I like this one. The color is super beautiful and I can layer it on lots of my lipsticks. It doesn't really feel sticky on my lips and last very long compare to other gloss that I have tried.

essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara
I am loving essence products. They are very cute packaging and the quality isn't bad for the price. Brow gel is a must have product and I think this one is very affordable and cute.

The Hadalabo face wash is one of the best skin care products that I have ever used.
I am so amazed by how this works, super gentle and clean very well. I will have an individual blog post for this soon.
The coffee bean eye cream I had it for every long time, still the best eye cream for me. For the price under $20 and
the amount which is 1 oz. plus amazing results, I cannot be wrong with it. Absolutely adore it.
I'm a big fan of the Neutrogena Healthy Skin line, right now I'm still using the Anti wrinkle cream and this is my third tube. I think it's the time to try something new. I want to try a moisturizer from 100% PURE since I love their eye cream so much and also because they're organic products. (Quick tips, Drugstore.com carry some of their products for better price. )

Review: L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer

L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer

Product Features:
Enlighten your complexion. Wear under or mixed with foundation for a soft light illusion.
Highlight specific areas of the face to create a sculpted effect. Universal shade suitable for all skin types and tones.

Product Description:
0.68 FL/20ml

What I think:
I love illuminators, so when I saw this product on the shelves I want to give it a try. First of all, I really like the packaging, looks quite nice and has a pump, and also surprised because this is very small, not a lot product in it, I paid $12.99+tax for 20ml product.
This is a water based primer, very light and absorb quickly on skin. After using it for a few times, I wasn't surprised by what it does on my skin. I use this as a highlighter on top of makeup or under foundation as a primer, either way isn't working so well.
Use as a highlighter, it wasn't  visible because a few dots on my cheekbone isn't enough. As a base unless I use quite amount, otherwise I can't see any difference. Under direct sunlight I can see the light reflecting effect when I turn my face, it wasn't really obvious, looks very subtle. It was like the natural glow coming out of the skin when your skin is well hydrated ( So I wasn't sure it is my skin itself or the product).
So in all, I don't recommend this product, however if your skin looks dry and dull you can give it a try.

Overall:
☆☆☆★★

Pros:
Nice Packaging
Nice texture

Cons:
Invisible under makeup
price and amount
