Maybelline Legal Length Mascara waterproof
Naruko Narcissus Total Defense Moisturizing Day Protector
Naruko Narcissus Total Defense Repairing Dew
Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes

Skin Care
After I finished my Naruko Total Defense serum and night repair lotion, I start to use these two from the same line of the naruko products, the effects are the same as the other two finished products, if you're interested you can click to check it out.
I also really like the Costco brand cleansing towelettes, I use them to remove my face makeup, it works really well get rid of everything and also very gentle.

Makeup
Philosophy blush, I already have a blog post of this, love the packaging and the porcelain doll finish effects.
The legal length mascara by maybelline is the favorite of this month, I found it pretty much the same as the maybelline stiletto mascara, the brush, effects and packaging, the difference is this one contains fiber and buildable! I like the stiletto one too, but the downside is the color is not dark enough, same as the stiletto mascara.

NYC Blushable Creme Stick

NYC Blushable Creme Stick color: Plaza Pink

Description (online)
It gives a natural flush to your cheeks in one quick step. Soft and creamy colors can be blended to the desired intensity and coverage. This lightweight formula provides sheer, all-over color as well as subtle, shimmering accents, contours and dynamic highlights to your cheeks.

This is a dc product by NYC, I recently found this at my local dollar store. The color I picked up is Plaza Pink which is a coral pink color with sheen to it. The color is very pigmented, the texture is smooth, creamy, feel light on skin and easy to blend. The application is quite easy, one swipe is all I need,  looks very subtle once it blend in. I actually like it better than the other creme blush that I had. The only downside is it doesn't last long, it fades away after couple hours.

Review: NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer

New York Color Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer 1fl. oz 30ml

Description from their website:
NYC Color’s Primer instantly transforms even the most city-weary complexions, reviving dull looking skin and boosting radiance. Think of this so-called lingerie for your skin as unmentionables definitely worth mentioning!
It’s the ultimate accessory for your skin that’s perfect for all skin types.

Lines appear minimized
Imperfections, dark circles and enlarged pores are masked
With vitamin E which helps to protect against potential free radical damage
Enhances your skin’s smoothness and moisturization
Lasts all day

❤what I think❤
The consistensy of this primer is rather thin but still feels smooth, goes on easily. It can instantly brightens and illuminatse my skin. It contains small shimmer particles, but once you fully rub it into the skin the shimmer turns to a glow and won't be noticeable.
It does not minimize pores or even out skin tone, not as I noticed, but it does prime the skin and make the next step applying foundation more easily especially when you have dry skin. I use this in the center of my face where I need highlight and it works great.
I personally love it for cool weather or when my skin is dull, but not for the summer time because it make my face looks oily , and I don't recommend this for oily skin.

overall:
★★☆☆☆

Pros:
Smooth texture
Brightens, illuminates skin
Provides a smooth application for foundation
Affordable

Cons:
Contains shimmer
Does not minimize pores
Does not even skin tone
Not for oily skin

NEW YORK COLOR new products 2012

I'm really excited to see some new affordable products from drugstore lately. Believe it or not, I cannot even remember what was the last time I purchase makeup products, sad.
Anyway, I was in the drugstore looking for some wet n wild products then I found these from NEW YORK COLOR.

I'm always looking for a primer works for my skin and how can I miss this one. The packaging and formula of this reminds me of the Rimmel fix and perfect primer 002. I haven't try it yet so will have a separate post soon.

Here are two bronzing powders I pick up from NEW YORK COLOR.
706 Hamptons Radiance is a really beautiful color combination of peach, gold/bronze,cream color, I love it. It reminds me of the ELF studio golden bronzer and
also physicians formula shimmer strips bronzer. All colors are very pigmented as you can see.

708 Coney Island Grow is a combination of dark brown and cream color, not as shimmery as the other one but not bad as well. I think this is more suitable for use as a bronzer because I prefer matte finish.

The swatches are very similar, personally I really like the  706 Hamptons Radiance even though I already have shimmer strips bronzer from physicians formula( very similar), if you already have product like this or color like this I don't recommend to have these but it won't hurt if you want to try, I mean it's under $5, like most of the products from this brand.

Naruko Narcissus Total Defense Moisturizing Night Repair
Naruko Narcissus Total Defense Fundamental Serum
Jergens Natural Glow
ELF Goldern Bronzer
NYC Quick Dry Nail Polish 264 Lincoln Square Lavender
Revlon lipstick Pink in the Afternoon

 Naruko Skin care:

These two Naruko products are mentioned in my skin care post, I have been using this for almost two months now. I really like them because they works very well brightening my skin and also keep it moisturized. Usually I will add a layer of sun protection after I apply them then put makeup on.

ELF Golden Bronzer:
Love the texture and color from the ELF Goldern Bronzer, I use them as eye shadow and highlight  for everyday makeup look, the texture make it really easy to work with, takes no time to apply and blend .

NYC Nail Polish Color: 264 Lincoln Square Lavender
So far the best color that I had for spring and summer. I'm really shock by how beautiful the color shows on my nails, pink lavender color with glossy finish. I don't even need a top coat with it. Another great thing about this nail polish is I can achieve different finish with different layers, one coat will leave a juicy, pastel color, two coats: opaque pink lavender color.

Last but not least is the Revlon lipstick color: Pink in the Afternoon. Pink rosy color, feels good on lips and looks very flattering.
Thanks for reading and have a good weekend!

Current Bronzer

H&M Bronzing Powder
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Sunny720A
ELF Studio Bronzer Golden

( L to R, H&M Bronzer,NYC Sunny, ELF Golden)

Comparison between these three:
Color:
H&M bronzer and NYC Sunny are very similar color. NYC Sunny is slightly darker, they both are matte color. ELF Golden Bronzer contains of four very shimmery color, very pigmented.
Texture:
ELF is the most soft one, feels creamy and easy to get on the brush. H&M Bronzer is next then the NYC Sunny. I feel the NYC Sunny is more harder pressed powder, I need to use more pressure to load it on my brush and also need more time to blend.
Summary:
I like my H&M Bronzer the most. The texture, color is in between the other two and more natural on my face. Since I'm not a bronzer perosn, I don't use it everyday and I don't want it to be so obvious.
ELF is more suitable as a multitask powder for me. I use all four color as eye shadow, use the lightest shade for highlighting my nose, cheek bone. NYC Sunny may be good for night out, on photo or camera.
